Coach put Erik in to pitch two innings today in the team's final game of the playoffs.  He did a solid job.  The coach from the opposing team told Gabriel that Erik has a great arm.  He has come such a long way from last year.  Way to go Erik!

 Erik got his second chance to pitch today - in a playoff game!!! One of our usual pitchers was tinkering with his pitch and it wasn't going well. Bases were loaded and there were no outs. He had already walked in a couple of runs. Coach pulled him and sent Erik in with no notice at all. Erik struck two guys out and got the third out by fielding a ground ball at the mound. He got the team out of a tight spot. We were so proud of him!

Erik's Select baseball team played their last game of the season today.  They lost the game but Erik played really well!  While playing third base he got three different guys out at first base.  He threw hard and accurately.  We were so proud of him.
